REVIEWS / READERS AND PUBLISHERS COMMENTS
On the flow of the concept of positive thinking, an ex-journalist writes a compendium on how to enhance the power of the mind and, possibly, a way to enjoy ourselves and life. The book is called The Power and Freedom of the Human Spirit, by Earle Josiah, whose aim seems to be just sharing his achievements - coming from what he calls his "mystical experiences" - with the whole world.
Josiah talks about universal love and truth, the main subjects of his quest. He recounts his journey not just reporting the single steps but what they meant for him and what he achieved by that: a spiritual awakening that brought a deeper understanding of life.
But this is not a book that tries to convince readers about the validity of the author’s vision of life. This is a "selfless" book to share with the world a very personal and interior experience to try and put it to the service of everyone else willing to start a similar journey or simply to know more about such experiences.
Josiah’s words fascinate and sound captivating: by understanding the message of the book, readers can achieve exactly the same results as the author; reading this book undoubtedly means taking part in his vision, walking alongside with him through a path he already knows.
Starting from a very basic concept, Josiah goes on developing a way to enjoy life, not necessarily bound to religion or faith but just as life itself.
He talks about a "vibrating spirit energy" as the essence of matter and as the first and main engine to start up human’s excitement and, consequently, human’s will.
Josiah is no messenger, but just a man who’s sharing his own personal experience hoping this can help someone else looking for a personal path to follow.
